CROATIAN CLUB
ADELAIDE | SOUTH AUSTRALIA
ABOUT US
For over 70 years The Croatian Club Adelaide Inc. – The Dom – has been a home away from home for the Croatians of Adelaide. A place to socialise, sing, dance, learn and play. Established in 1950 by Croatian immigrants new to South Australia as a not-for-profit organisation, the Club has grown and expanded from humble beginnings holding dances and fundraisers at various venues around Adelaide, to the purchase of the old Salvation Army Citadel in Bowden and the building of the current venue in Brompton. Various Croatian cultural associations including Soccer, HFS Lenek, Katarina Zrinski, Hrvatska Škola, as well as various political parties and associations (past and present) have all contributed to the evolution of our home base, and our growing community.
OUR COMMUNITY
As the centre of Croatian culture in South Australia, The Croatian Club is committed to the preservation of Croatian cultural heritage in Australia, Croatian traditions, customs and language. We do so for the benefit of all 'Croat Australians', as well as their friends and the wider community in which we reside. The Dom has always embraced cultural diversity, and as such warmly welcomes all those wishing to share and enjoy our unique heritage. So join us for dinner on a Friday night, a fundraising lunch on a Sunday, a game of bocce, or any one of our upcoming events. Better yet, get involved with one of our cultural associations such as folklore dancing, language school or the women’s auxiliary group.
OUR VISION

So join us for dinner on a Friday night, a fundraising lunch on a Sunday, a game of bocce, or any one of our upcoming events.
